Eva Longoria nominated for TV Actress Comedy & Hottie Female!

Eva Longoria competed at IMTA during the Los Angeles 1998 Convention. She competed in swimwear, TV Beauty and many other IMTA competitions. Eva received 38 callbacks! It was enough to convince her that she had better pursue her dreams! She signed with Debra-Lynn Findon who helped her get established in L.A. and got Eva her first auditions. Eva starred on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless.

Now, of course, she is an A-List actress who stars on the hit show Desperate Housewives as Gabrielle Solis. She's our favorite on the show and looks like she's a Teen Choice Award favorite too!

Oh...and for the IMTA scoop??? Eva is an awesome dancer! She had a great time at the IMTA Jazz It Up Dance Party and danced all night! But the sweetest thing we remember about Eva is that when she was on stage to receive an award she was genuinely happy for the other winners even if they placed higher than she did!

Initiation of Sarah!

Mika Boorem's newest MGM telefilm The Initiation of Sarah is on location filming now in Shreveport, LA! Mika plays the title role of Sarah! Wait till you read the spooky storyline too...it's a fresh new twist remake of a 1978 cult classic.

From the MGM website: "The Initiation of Sarah has been reimagined in a bold new way. Both smart and scary, this new film explores the bonds of sisterhood and asks just how far can they be pulled before they break. Set against the sexy backdrop of college sorority life, "Sarah" discovers just how far some girls will really go to be popular. The story focuses on Sarah, a beautiful, rebellious young woman who has been plagued with unexplained powers for most of her life, and her seemingly more normal sister Lindsey. Together they set off for college hoping to leave their troubled pasts behind, but when they plunge head first into sorority life, they quickly realize they are actually being pulled into a centuries old battle between good and evil. Even if they survive Hell Week, it's unlikely that either girl will ever be the same. "

You may remember Mika from her films Blue Crush, Augusta, Gone and Sleepover, which starred two other IMTA alums, Kallie Flynn Childress and Sean Faris!
