Keri Lynn Pratt guest stars on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit tonight on USA network. She plays Lauren Westley, a runaway teenage girl in the episode titled "Rockabye." Keri Lynn competed at IMTA in 1996 where she first signed with the same manager that started Katie Holmes' career!

Sara competed at IMTA in 1996 and won Model of the Year! She has been a working model ever since! Appearing in high fashion, commercial and editorial print work, Sara is also in some memorable television commercials!

Akeelah and the Bee opens today nationwide! Look for Sara Niemietz as Polly in this inspirational drama! Sara competed at IMTA in 2000. Since then, she's starred on Broadway, on television and performed in Times Square for 50,000 people!

IMTA alums nominated for MTV Movie Awards




The 2006 MTV Movie Awards nominees were announced this week in Los Angeles. Two IMTA alumni are among the crowd pleasers. Katie Holmes' Batman Begins is up for "Best Movie" as well as several other categories. Seann William Scott is nominated for "Best On-Screen Team" for The Dukes of Hazzard (Seann's ensemble included Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson). MTV Movie Awards are determined by the fans in online and mobile messaging voting. The Awards will air Thursday, June 8th on MTV.

Double Dose of IMTA on SNL!




E! network is airing back to back episodes of Saturday Night Live with IMTA alums hosting. Wednesday night, catch Seann William Scott and on Thursday, watch Ashton Kutcher. These natural comedians both made their stage debuts on an IMTA runway! Seann competed at IMTA in 1995 and Ashton competed in 1997.

The IMTA alums starred together in the cult comedy hit Dude, Where's My Car? in 2000.

Chancellor Miller guest-stars on That 70's Show



Catch the syndication showing of a very special That 70's Show tonight! Chancellor Miller guest-stars on the episode titled "The Kids Are Alright." From season six of the groovy hit (that starred IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher), this episode originally aired October 29, 2003.

Chancellor competed at IMTA and got so much agent, manager and casting director interest that he was the first child actor to win the award for "Most Sought After"! He had a record number of callbacks and signed with Hines and Hunt Entertainment. Chancellor is in tons of national commercials and is a natural comedian. He also is a great dancer and performs in the JammX kids dance television shows.

Elijah Wood in I'm Still Here







Elijah Wood is featured as part of a very special MTV documentary I’m Still Here: Real Diaries of Young People in the Holocaust. The documentary airs on Tuesday, April 25 at 10 pm on the Sundance Channel.

Celebrities read diary entries written by young people who witnessed the horrors of the Holocaust. IMTA alum Elijah Wood joins other actors giving dramatic readings including Kate Hudson, Brittany Murphy, Amber Tamblyn and Joaquin Phoenix. This important film is being screened at many schools as part of the history curriculum.

Agnes Bruckner's Film Debuts at Film Festival















The Woods debuts tonight at the Amsterdam Film Festival. The cast is great and the buzz for the film has been huge. Agnes plays Heather, a neglected teen dropped off at a spooky school in the woods where things are not what they seem. Agnes competed at IMTA when she was a young girl and landed a role on The Bold and Beautiful. Her 2003 film, Blue Car, won her widespread critcial acclaim.

Jessica Biel Filming Two New Movies!



Jesse is in production on two exciting feature films. The sci-fi action thriller Next with Nicholas Cage and Julianne Moore about a man who can see into the future. She is also filming Home of the Brave, a war drama, with Samuel L. Jackson, Chad Michael Murray and 50 Cent. Both films are scheduled for 2007 release dates.

Jesse first wowed audiences at IMTA in 1994 where she was a triple threat who could act, sing and dance. She was signed immediately and started her career with a modeling assignment for Limited Too. She is famous for playing Mary Camden on Seventh Heaven for many seasons. On the big screen, she has been in tons of great films including Ulee's Gold, Elizabethtown, Stealth, and Blade:Trinity.

The Sentinel Premieres Today! Go Eva!


Everyone's favorite Desperate Housewife shows her stuff on the big screen today in her feature film debut, The Sentinel. Playing a secret service agent as smart as she is beautiful, Eva stars with Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland. Pass the popcorn!

Katie's Latest Production Debuts!


Congratulations to Katie Holmes! Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are the parents of a baby girl! Katie competed at two IMTA Conventions (1993 and 1995). Katie gave us the sweetest interview after her first feature film saying,"Let's just say a girl from Toledo doesn't end up in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for the IMTA!" Then she beamed her trademark darling smile.....

Eva is on the Talk Show Circuit!

Eva is appearing on tonight's Late Show with David Letterman and E!'s The Interview with Ryan Seacrest. Catch gorgeous Eva as she dishes about her life, her show, and her past, which of course, includes IMTA! She competed at IMTA in 1998.
One of the nicest things we remember about Eva is how genuinely happy she was for her fellow contestants when they won competitions. She was also one of the best dancers at the Jazz It Up dance party and boogied down all night.

Blast from the Past!


Catch the re-airing of My Father, The Hero with hunky Dalton James, the heartthrob who woos Gerard Depardieu's daughter in this classic comedy. Airs tomorrow night on Lifetime Television. Dalton attended IMTA twice in the early nineties and enjoyed a successful television career that included roles on 90210, McGyver, and the soap, Passions. Dalton retired from acting a few years ago and enjoys golfing and spending time with his children.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to be an actor?
