Eva Longoria in double-page L'Oreal ad
IMTA alum Eva Longoria is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris and a brand new gorgeous ad featuring her is appearing in several magazines! Eva signed the exclusive worldwide contract with L'Oreal Paris in the spring of 2005.
Eva was honored to be selected saying,"To have L'Oreal select me as a spokesperson is a wonderful honor,” said Eva, “L'Oreal is one of the few companies that really reflect my values. Their company philosophy and their legendary phrase, ‘Because I'm Worth It,’ go hand in hand with who I am as a person. It's exciting to be a part of such a diverse group of spokespeople, from all-American Heather Locklear to African-American Beyonce, and now me, a Latina. This is it, the best, the culmination of an amazing year."
The youngest of four sisters who grew up on a ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas, Eva's talent and persistence with her acting have paid off. Eva competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1998. She received 38 callbacks and signed with theatrical agent who encouraged her to move to L.A. and the rest is Hollywood history! She starred on the daytime dramas as The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, and she currently stars on the ABC mega hit Desperate Housewives, where she portrays Latin sex symbol Gabrielle Solis.
Eva is the second IMTA alum to serve as spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris. Jessica Biel represented the company in commercials, print ads and on their website beginning in 2002.

Someone's trying to look very dark and brooding
"He was basically upset at the fact that I said I didn't like his band," Wood says. "He said that initially and then walked away. I guess he thought I was laughing at him, but I was more shell-shocked and telling people around me, 'Whoa, I just got told off by Jared Leto for not liking his band.' And that's when he came back and grabbed me. I told Jared it wasn't personal. He acted like I'd been disrespecting him or speaking about his family. Things like that don't generally happen to me. I'm very non-confrontational. The whole thing was kind of ridiculous."
