The bride wore an Armani off the shoulder dress with a floor length veil and slippers. Her attempt to make Tom taller worked but she looks kind of hunched over in this photo. The details about the wedding came from People. The magazine's obsession with the wedding is a little strange, but we have to admit that we love it. Here are some of the details:
1) The bride also had a champagne colored reception dress that she changed into. The bridesmaids were supposedly wearing navy blue gowns.
2) The Best Man was some guy from Scientology, but Katie must have stood her ground becase the Matron of Honor was her sister, Nancy Blalock and not one of her Scientology coaches.
3) They served Italian hors d'oeurves followed by a multi- course meal. We'll assume filet mignon was on the menu because that's what everyone serves (boring!). The cake was white chocolate with marzipan roses and decorated with white chocolate chips (also boring).
4) The rings were white gold by Cartier and after the ceremony there were fireworks.
5) The only shocking detail is that there were only 150 guests. We would have thought that there would be about 300.
What do people think of the gown? We think that it is not a show-stopper, as in Victoria Beckham's outfit was more interesting. It's pretty boring. She could have worn something more spectacular because she has a great figure. Armani is a great designer but not for wedding gowns. She should have gone with Valentino, Vera Wang or Monque Llullier. Tom needed a haircut.
We'll assume that there will be tons of quotes from the celebrities saying that it was the best and most romantic wedding that they've ever been to. Whatever.
