First, we thank God everyday that Britney Spears decided not to record this song, since she was the first person offered it. She would have butchered it. We love "Umbrella" and we love the way Rihanna normally performs it, but at the Brit awards it was nearly unrecognizable. It sounded like something that should have been the theme song for Apocalypse Now-- and that is not a compliment.
