This is my first post and as I mentioned in my bio, I was so fortunate to recently visit Paris, France for a week. I have been dreaming of going there since I was 20 and it was a dream come true! It lived up to all my expectations and more….Here are some of my photos that I took while there – I fell in love with Notre Dame, Versailles and the Eiffel Tower.
Versailles was another place that I was so anxious to see as I had studied it in History of Furniture and wanted to see the all the excess of Louis XIV with my own eyes. The rooms were so colourful not too much beige around…. The floors and marble fireplaces were gorgeous – I have never seen purple marble before.
