SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT IS ON......
We were tasked with redoing the entryway and the lobby to bring it from institutional to warm and inviting. Since most of the designers on this project also have a blog, we thought we would each feature the wonderful sponsors who donated their time, labour and/or products to ensure a fabulously finished space.

Here's some history on Tamarack Homes:
More than 60 years ago, Harold Taggart wanted to build better homes for the returning second world war veterans. He started his own company and then later joined with Doran Contractors (in business since 1846) to become the company we now know as Taggart Group of Companies.
Even half a century later you can still see the pride of ownership set in motion by a man who set new standards for quality construction and customer satisfaction. Their innovative designs and quality craftsmanship have ensured that the Taggart Group of Companies exceeded the expectations of new home buyers for over 60 years.
Harold's sons have continued their father's proud legacy and dedication to excellence and every home owner is greeted with the same quality and attention to detail that Harold insisted on.
Tamarack's architectural team is partnered with world-renowned architect, Barry J. Hobin. His influence is everywhere in their homes; from subtle window curves, a welcoming front porch and lots of natural light. This allows each Tamarack design to be distinctive and special, as per Barry's specifications.
Tamarack is currently building homes in seven distinct communities in Ontario. They include, Findlay Creek (Ottawa South), Jackson Trails (Stittsville), Chaperal (Orleans), Woodhaven and Greenwood Park (Kingston), Central (downtown Ottawa) and Halfmoon Bay (Barrhaven).
With their ongoing commitment to giving back to the community the Taggart family announced early this year $2 million in support of the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA's Strengthening the Heart of our Community Capital Campaign. It is the largest single donation in the 144 year history of the Y. To honour this extraordinary gift, the Y's flagship facility on Argyle Avenue (currently under revitalization) will be renamed the Taggart Family Y.
Click on Tamarack Homes to see their distinctive designs and attention to quality yourself. My fellow decorators who also generously donated their time and who are also bloggers have also written about this makeover. Please click on their links on my side bar to read more about our fabulous sponsors.
I believe that every space can be comfortable, warm, elegant and beautiful. I would love to help you achieve your beautiful space!
Lisa
