MORE BLACK DOORS..........

I finished painting the door to my powder room and my standard issue french doors recently, and I'm thrilled with the results.  I can't say that I enjoyed painting those french doors though, yikes that was painful.

I painted the interior of my exterior door and the french door to our den last year, you can read about it here.  I've since also painted the closet doors, but you'll have to wait for a picture, because I've done even more changes to the entry.  But that's for another day!

Here's the before pictures of the powder room door - don't you just love all those thermostats, switches, central vac and electric outlets!   Geez, even the doorbell is on that wall and the fire alarm is directly above it as well.  I guess I should be happy they are all in one place.  I'm going to have to get some of those clear covers so at least some of them will fade into the wall.

Makes those cheap doors seem so much more expensive doesn't it?  Just like a dress that looks so, so in colour but then in black, it just looks expensive!  In case you are wondering, that little sign says "Toilette", a little thing I bought in Paris - it's so cute!

Here's the before of the family room doors.  Sorry that they are so dark and there's two of my cats who always manage to get themselves in the photo.

The sun was shining brightly, so there's some glare.  But, I'm not complaining about that..... ;)
