Marion Cotillard tries to do some damage control

The British media printed an old interview of Oscar winner Marion Cotillard saying that the US government was responsible for 9/11 and wanted to get rid of the twin towers since they were really old buildings and didn't want to renovate them. Naturally, her publicist has fought back, claiming the comments were taken out of context and that they should not be taken seriously. Furthermore, her publicist has aggressively attacked the media for printing the story and for irresponsible journalism. Marion Cotillard would have been better off apologizing for saying something so insensitive and ignorant. Apparently she never saw the tape where Osama bin Laden took credit for the whole thing. Attacking the media seems like another dumb move.
