The happy couple, were married in Italy and were surrounded by close friends and family, including Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard have been together about 7 years and have a daughter who is over two years old. Though they married in Italy, this was not a Tomkat style extravaganza of excess and reckless spending. Case in point: they got married in Brindisi, Italy which is the port town that you avoid spending the night in when you're off to the party island of Corfu in Greece.
