After having memorized several of the more memorable and impassioned monologues from The Practice, McDermott thinks he's ready to defend himself in the fight of this life: his divorce from Shiva Rose (a wannabe actress/designer/stylist-- who knows what she does?). He can use the words of David Kelly to bring about justice and captivate the judge with his legal know-how.
Cut to 1 year later---------- Shiva Rose gets the largest divorce settlement in history.
