Adrianne Palicki and Jerry Ferrara in the Running for Emmy

IMTA alums Jerry Ferrara and Adrianne Palicki made the lists for consideration for a 60th Primetime Emmy Award! Jerry's show Entourage is up for a nomination for outstanding comedy series category. Adrianne's hit show Friday Night Lights is up for a nomination for outstanding drama series. The next step in getting a nomination was the Blue Ribbon Panel screening which just took place this past weekend! The nominees will be announced by the Television Academy at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, July 17.

Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000 where he met and signed with an agent who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. He landed the comedy King Of Queens. Jerry was then cast in the independent feature Cross Bronx which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival and then worked on Brooklyn Rules. Jerry is best known for his role as Turtle on HBO's popular and 7 Emmy-nominated TV show Entourage. He has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actors Guild and TV Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards. Jerry was a presenter at both the VMAs and the Emmys last year!!

Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2001 and was signed by an agent. During an interview with the IMTA Video Crew, she said ,"It was amazing. I love IMTA. I'm so sad it's over." She went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was 7 Mummies, and she went on to have roles The Robinsons: Lost in Space, Popstar, Smallville, CSI, North Shore, South Beach and Supernatural. She was named one of the "Girls to Watch of 2008" by FHM Magazine, and was in a national Dove soap campaign. Adrianne's first TV series South Beach is currently showing encore presentations on UHD.
