Well, many of you may know by know that Perez Hilton was punched in the face by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas after he consistently referred to Fergie as "fugly" on his website and called Will.i.am a "fa_ _ t" to his face, while at a series of after parties in Toronto. Perez claims that Will.i.am was aggressive with him and acted in a threatening manner towards him and that he feared for his life after he was punched in the face by the manager. Will.i.am issued a video denial of the incident claiming an errant fan did the punching. Perez responded with his own overly dramatic 12 minute video where he called Will.i.am a liar, said "violence is not the answer" a million times and then ended it by calling Fergie "fugly."

We have several thoughts on this matter. First, we don't understand why Perez's wrath is not directed towards the manager that hit him. Second, what did he think was going to happen when he called Will.i.am the derogatory f-word referred to above? Though we disagree with the manager hitting him, Perez seemed shocked by this-- as if it was a complete impossibility that someone might hit him. He also acted as if he had been tortured for 20 hours.

Most of the comments from readers on other websites have not been sympathetic towards Perez. He has a huge audience of millions of readers and he can sometimes be really mean, while inexpicably kissing Paris Hilton's ass. We don't think Perez was slugged in the face for what he's written on the site. We think that the way he handled the encounter with Will.i.am was very provocative and unnecessary. If Will.i.am was speaking to him in a threatening manner, instead of calling him a name, he should have left the conversation immediately.

We are highly critical of the trainwrecks, gold-diggers, pompous asses and delirious no-talents of Hollywood, but very few people read our site, no one knows who we are and no one cares.
