I had the pleasure of attending an Ottawa Tweet up at CHI (Custom Homes Interiors) last night. It was filled with fellow designers, real estate agents, Ottawa media, florists and many, many others.
It was great to meet in person the tweeters who you have a connection with in the day to day life of tweeting.
Kimberley Seldon came in from Toronto to attend and promote her great new book, “The Business of Design”. Mary Taggart was there from Ottawa at Home and the funniest women out there, the Moggit girls, Janet and Joy from the Mogg Blog even made an appearance.
Michelle of MV Petals (click here for her blog) set out the most gorgeous floral arrangements – they were truly breathtaking. CHI had a fantastic spread of food and wine and as always, were fantastic hosts.
Lots of my fellow Ottawa bloggers were there: Kelly from Design Ties, Sonya from Sonya Kinkade Designs, Donna from dh Designs, Marie-Judith from M2JL Studio, Katherine from Girl About O- Town and many more…..
It just goes to show the power of twitter and the connections that people are making through it. If you’re not already on you should join and embrace your future friends, clients and colleagues.
