i bought myself an Logitech V500 a few months back to accompany my future Powerbook. apart from the wireless USB thing its perfect. but its sooo small and i think it has the highest DPI for any infrared mouse too, but dont quote me on that (and that was back in october).
ive had it since october, use it every single day for an hour approx and the battery is still in 'good' rating! i never knew wireless mice were so battery-friendly. man i bought 8 AAA batteries expecting it to eat through them but at this rate these will last me till a G5 PB ;)

oh and subl1me; its an amazing mouse, probably wouldnt use it for desktop PC/Mac use but for portables... yea... highly recommended.

Hit the "Capture Now" button, end your capture with "esc.".
It should ask you to name the clip.
You could always "Import" the "Media" folder of iMovie captures too - I primarily use this when I'm capturing analog video that lacks a timecode that FCX can use.

I will reserve judgment on this until I see the photo's. I would rather have great optics and a descent sensor then a very high pixel count. I like the fact thou, the smart phones are pushing. This means one less thing for me to carry in the not to distant future.

I'm still relatively new to OS X, but holding the option key is the only way I know of to select which disk to boot. If there is another way (e.g., a boot-time menu or something that didn't require holding a key), I'd be interested to know about it.

He must have meant labels. Studios don't make hardly squat, and are not commissioned on sales.
I was interning at a studio in Franklin, TN (basically Nashville) when I came in early in the morning and woke up the main studio engineer (he had slept there overnight after a long session). When he got on his feet he said, "Why am I doing this?" I made my mind up right then that I didn't want to be in the same boat and decided not to work in the industry after getting my B.S.

Great games have no expiration date ;)
One of my boys has picked this game up again. The last time he played it was on an Athlon XP machine with an FX5500 card and needed oldBlivion to get it working on min settings. On his 2007 iMac, its just night and day difference and he is rediscovering everything again in much higher detail. It is quite a visually stunning game.

Because you want to integrate Flash and PDF, I would say that Adobe Encore is your tool of choice. Apple's DVD studio pro is also popular, but Encore supports embedded computer data, flash, etc.

i don't think the rogers video stores will have the phones. if i go, i will probably be going to the rogers store at 2599 pembina highway, since it's fairly close to my place. i don't think i'll be getting the phone since i am only 14 and have about $20 right now, but i'm gonna see if i can line up for the free breakfast! :D
EDIT: woops. the store i was going to go to is not participating in the launch, according to rogers.com. so i'll be going to the one at 1225 St Mary's Road if i end up going.

You already asked about heat issues in another thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1145803) and were told that you don't have heat issues. Your MBP is working as designed. You don't need to do anything to your thermal paste.

And LCD's backlight will fail eventually, but that takes years and years. If yours is failing now, I hope you have AppleCare or something.

Assuming your Xbox360 has HDMI out and you already have an HDMI cable, all you need is an HDMI to DVI converter and plug in directly into the ACD. Those are very cheap. I'd get one from monoprice.com.
You do not want to put the MBP into the mix. This will be expensive and cause a lag in the display that will make playing games difficult or impossible.

I've been looking for a clear TAM for a while now, I'm not entirely sure that it exists, but whatever.

This weekend ASU physicist Paul Davies celebrated the 50th anniversary of astronomer Frank Drake’s “start of the most ambitious scientific experiment in history”: the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI); (Wall Street Journal; 4/10/10). i started folding a few days after my younger (and only) sister died from something that is being studied by F@H. she made it 2 days past her 35th birthday, and left a 4 month old baby and widow (and me) behind. i've been folding ever since, and won't stop until they quit giving out work units. period.

Prior to this G5 I'd primarily used laptops for years. Particularly like the ALPowerbook keyboard for feel. Can't stand the normal Apple keyboards, or any normal ones really. Got the icekey maybe 1 month ago. I absolutely love it. And you don't have that issue...the only one...with the Powerbook when you are typing in Word, and go to hit the right shift key, hit the up button, and delete the last line or two...hate that...have to undo quickly. Not a problem with the bigger Icekey keyboard.
Lol, never encounterd that problem. This forum really helps me too, since I plan on buying a pmac G5, but i've used laptops all my life & want the small & sleek laptop keyboard feel.
