Sorry man I'm not very impressed, it's clean and simple yes, but the darkish coloured text on the blue box doesn't really have alot of contrast, sure you can read it but it certanly doesn't jump out at you. Plus I've never been a big fan of super minimalist design, add some gradiants!
The text colour needs to be adjusted a bit but here's the direction I'd take it.
hmm..well the colours i've used are taken from coldplay's own artwork. i'm glad it doesn't attract attention..that'd distract people from seeing the video.
anyway, i simply wanted an alternative page to direct specific ad runs to as opposed to a blog posting. and while you may not find a coldplay ad interesting - 22,000 other people did. :)

Apple already has a split-system.
They sell this year's phone for one price and last year's phone for a much cheaper price.
I don't see any reason why they'd give that up and start selling 2 brand-new models at different prices. I don't understand what that gains them over the current system. Any blog that says there will be a 'pro model' but doesn't explain how that's better than the current system doesn't count much in my opinion.

Talk to Apple. This looks like the infamous Nvidia 8600M issue and may still be covered under Apple's replacement scheme (I actually got a brand new MBP out of them about 6 months out of warranty).
Make an appointment at your local genius bar and see what they say.
The 8600M only appeared in the Macbook Pro and I believe only the 08 model. The OP says his computer is a Macbook and from early 2007 so will be using the Intel 950 integrated graphics.

I live in Orange County CA, and I will say there are probably 8 or 9 AT&T stores compared to the 1 Apple Store. I just did a "find a store" zip code search on the AT&T site and there were 18 stores within a 5 mile radius, 31 + stores within a 10 mile radius though not all the stores are "factory" stores (Affordable Portables, etc.). There will be more stores, but I can't imagine each store will have more than 200 phones each. With Apple Stores getting more (hopefully) and Best Buy, Radio Shack, things look good for next week.

I recently saw a pc with OSX running on it. And that's neat. I'm mainly a Windows user but I've remained respectful to Apple hardware but I can't stand OSX. It's stable and it's easy to use but I much rather prefer the unrestricted control a knowledgeable user can have over Windows. Thus leads me to my question;
Has anyone gotten or heard of anyone getting Windows to run on a Mac without an excruciatingly slow emulator? Is there any chance of this happening in the future?

I got my 10.5 yesterday, but I still want to go to the apple store near my office (it's only a block away). Do you guys think they will be giving the free stuff to only people who buy leopard, or does anyone in the crowd get one? I plan to buy a new bag and some accessories for my MacBook.

I'd give it a 9. The only knock against it being the ability to get in and mod it easily. I come from the PC world where I built my own machines and constantly tweaked and upgraded them over time. I've had my current iMac for 4 years and just ordered another of the new ones. They are incredibly powerful for an all-in-one and it just works. As it turns out I didn't really need to do much modding except for RAM, which is easy. I've had absolutely no problems with my current iMac. Wife is getting that one and my 7 yr old is getting her MacMini.

HAven't taken her out in public yet, since i don't have a carrying case (still undecided what to get) as for having more space while at home, yes i love it, cause it allows for an easier time doing multiple things at once. I will be taking her out though a little later today to a group meeting i need to go to, nad she'll probably come to shcool with me soon, so Ill have a better idea of what all is going on then..

When I switched, I listed all the apps I used on windows, then went about looking for the Mac equivalent. IE > Safari, Outlook Express > Mail, Nero > Toast , etc.. it took a while but it was fun in the process. I also found that trying to use windows again now sux 'cause it doesn't have all the programs I'm so used to!

Really been into computers my whole life. Since I am only 27, I am just getting up to speed. I have had varying exposure to all makes of computers. The Mac Community operates on a near, excuse me, holy hatred of Micro$oft.
I purchased my first Mac a few years ago, a portable, codenamed WallStreet. Why I bought was simple. I LOVE computers!! Now I am a repeat buyer! I now have an "Ivory " TIBook!
As a final note, iChat is great! And Windoze users see silvery OS Brillance!
Makes them jealous!
As a footnote, I am Certified A+ in microcomputer repair. There is a SERIOUS lack of knowledge that the Mac came first!

Deleting the plist did not fix the problem bt deleting the INBOX.mbox did. Unfortunately it also took out all the emails I already had in the INBOX, so i'm glad I just left it on the desktop.
Oops... I submitted my edit after your problem was solved. Glad to see everything worked out. It looks like we were thinking the same thing to solve the problem though. ;)

I'm using that very stick of RAM in my iBook right now, but I think that it had issues with previous Powerbook models, which was why it isn't Mac certified. Not sure if those issues were solved in the current Powerbooks.

Is anyone using a bluetooth headset with their 4th Gen iPod Touch? Which models work?
I am looking to use it for some Ustreaming and it would be ideal if I could use the mic from a bluetooth headset to provide the audio.
It seems like most of the questions around the forums are for older generations and was surprised to find very little information on the topic.
